Most skin treatments correct a problem. Forever Young is different: it is a long-term protocol designed to change how your skin ages going forward. Built on Sciton’s BroadBand Light technology, the treatment delivers pulses of light that clear accumulated sun damage, redness, and pigment while stimulating the skin’s own regeneration and collagen production. What sets Forever Young apart is the schedule. Rather than a one-time fix, treatments are repeated at regular intervals, keeping skin cells behaving more like younger cells year after year. It is well suited to the face, neck, hands, and chest, the areas that tend to give age away first.
The research behind the protocol is what convinced us to build it into our Hot Springs practice. In a well-known long-term study, patients who maintained regular BBL treatments over roughly a decade were consistently judged to look younger at the end of the study than their age would suggest, and in many cases younger than when they began. We see the same pattern in our own chairs. Many of our most loyal Forever Young patients come from Hot Springs Village and Lake Hamilton, folks who have decided that if they are going to enjoy retirement on the water and the golf course, their skin may as well keep up.
Forever Young runs in two phases, and understanding them makes the pricing and scheduling conversation much easier.
We start with a short series of BBL sessions, typically spaced about a month apart, to clear the sun damage, redness, and pigment your skin has already collected. This is where the visible transformation happens.
From there, most patients move to two to four sessions per year. These are quick appointments, usually around 30 minutes, timed to seasons of lower sun exposure. This is the phase the longevity research is built on: it is the steady rhythm of treatments, not any single session, that keeps skin behaving younger.
Your starting point depends on your skin. Someone in their thirties with light sun damage may need very little correction before moving to maintenance, while decades of Arkansas summers may call for a longer first phase. We will map your plan out honestly at your consultation.
Forever Young is the long game, and it plays well with the rest of our skin health services in Hot Springs. If you are starting with significant sun damage, a corrective round of BBL Skin Treatments or a Halo resurfacing session can reset the canvas before maintenance begins. Between light sessions, a medical-grade skin care routine protects the results you are paying for. Our team will sequence all of it so nothing overlaps and nothing is wasted.
Adults of nearly any age who want to slow the visible aging of their skin, whether that means clearing damage that has already accumulated or protecting skin that is still ahead of the curve. Patients in their thirties use it preventively; patients in their sixties and seventies use it to hold the line. As with all light-based treatments, skin tone and recent sun exposure factor into the plan, which we will review at your consultation.
Initial improvements, brighter tone and fading spots, usually appear within the first few weeks as treated pigment clears. The deeper changes in firmness and texture develop over several months as collagen rebuilds, and the compounding benefit of the protocol shows over years.
As long as you keep the rhythm. That is the honest answer and the entire point of Forever Young. Skin continues to age and the Arkansas sun does not take years off, so the results are maintained by the ongoing schedule rather than banked from a single treatment. Patients who pair their sessions with daily SPF and a good home routine hold their results best.
Minimal. Most patients return to their normal day immediately. Mild redness or slight swelling can occur and typically settles within hours, occasionally a day or two. Treated spots darken briefly before flaking away, which is the treatment doing its job.
Avoid direct sun and tanning for two weeks before each session, and wear broad-spectrum sunscreen daily afterward, which you should be doing on this protocol anyway. We will provide specific instructions around your skincare products before each visit.
A warm sensation as the BBL pulses move across the treatment area, kept comfortable by the device’s integrated cooling. Sessions are quick, usually around half an hour, and many of our maintenance patients schedule them the way they schedule a dental cleaning: routine, brief, and back to the day.
This protocol draws committed patients, and they come from across the trade area: Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Lake Hamilton, and out toward Benton. Because maintenance visits are only a few times a year, even patients with a 35 minute drive find the schedule easy to keep.
A treatment designed around consistency deserves pricing designed around consistency. Our memberships were practically made for Forever Young patients, with member rates that reward the regular schedule the protocol requires. Cherry financing is also available if you prefer to spread out the corrective phase. We will lay out the numbers plainly at your consultation, before you commit to anything.
