Three to four months for most patients. Fast metabolisms, heavy exercisers, and very expressive faces sometimes burn through it a little quicker; regular patients often find results stretch longer over time as the treated muscles weaken their habit. You can return to your day immediately, with a few small rules: no rubbing the area, no lying flat, and no hard workouts for the rest of the day. Side effects are usually limited to a possible pinpoint bruise or brief redness at the injection sites.
